CrossFit Open 2021
Every year we participate in the CrossFit Open. The CrossFit Open kicks off March 11th.
This year there are only 3 weeks instead of 5 weeks. Making it more fun and less stressful in my opinion.
Every year thousands of CrossFitters get to test there fitness and gauge there progress. This is NOT a win or lose event. It is not about making it to the CF games for most of us mortals. It is about redefining goals and testing your personal limits.
We will have 2 teams. Kolette and Burt are Captains
We will be drafting 2 teams that are as fair as possible. Equal guys and girls on each team.
EVERY Single Edge member should do the Open! It is only a few bucks and you learn a ton about yourself in the process. There are Rx and Scaled divisions so there are no excuses. Anyone that did it last year can use that as a bar and can see what progress they have made.
Every year I hear .... I cant RX it.... or Im not in good enough shape...or I dont want to spend the money.... these are not valid excuses, you will regret not registering. It is a ton of fun and lets you know what you are really made of.
Every single week someone does something they didnt think was possible. Every single week someone gets motivated by a member they barely knew before. And it keeps everyone consistent through the next 2 months. Its an extra little PUSH
Every Thursday night during the Open we meet up at the box and watch the WOD get released.
Fridays will be the Open Wod at all the classes. We will have Friday Night Lights as well.

What you need
1 cup coconut water
1 tablespoon almond butter
¼ cup wheat grass
2 cups spinach
1 scoop high quality, low carb chocolate protein
1-inch slice of Banana
Optional pinch of stevia
½ cup ice
1. Combine all the ingredients in your high-speed blender then blend on high for a full minute, or until the tiny pieces of spinach have disappeared and the smoothie turns a brilliant shade of green. Drink immediately and enjoy!
One serving equals: 155 calories, 4g fat, 105mg sodium, 15g carbohydrates, 2g fiber, and 15g protein.
